Northern Echoes Oy - Terms & Conditions
1. General Information
These General Terms and Conditions apply to bookings and services provided by Northern Echoes Oy (Business ID: 3462313-4), Karkkolankuja 22, 99650 Sattanen, Finland (hereinafter "We" or "Us"). By booking a service, the customer (hereinafter "You") agrees to these Terms and Conditions. These terms are governed by Finnish law.
2. Service Description
Our services include nature and culture-based activities in Lapland, such as guided tours, seasonal experiences, and family-friendly programs. Full details, including itineraries and pricing, are available at www.northernechoes.fi.
Additional services (e.g., transfers, meals, equipment) may not be included unless specifically stated. Prices and contents are listed per product.
3. Booking & Payment
Bookings can be made via our website (using Orioly), email, or authorized agents. A deposit of 30% confirms the reservation, and the balance is due 14 days before the activity. Failure to pay may result in cancellation.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal. You will receive an invoice and confirmation after payment. All transactions are in euros (EUR).
4. Prices & Inclusions
Prices are per person unless otherwise noted. They include only what is listed in the activity description. Personal expenses, insurance, visas, and optional extras are not included. Prices may change due to exchange rates, tax changes, or unforeseen circumstances.
5. Changes to Itinerary
We reserve the right to make necessary adjustments due to weather, safety, or third-party availability. Significant changes will be communicated, and alternative arrangements will be offered.
6. Minimum Group Size & Substitutions
If the minimum number of participants is not met, we may cancel the activity. You will be offered a refund or an alternative. You may also nominate another person to take your place with written notice.
7. Underage Participants
Under 18s may participate only when accompanied by an adult. No alcohol is served to minors.
8. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
Ensuring your physical condition suits the activity
Following safety instructions
Providing accurate personal information
Having required documents (ID, visa, etc.)
9. Complaints
Report issues immediately to our staff. Unresolved matters must be submitted in writing within 8 days of your return to info@northernechoes.fi. We respond within 15 days.
10. Insurance
Travel insurance is not included. We recommend cancellation, medical, and baggage insurance. We maintain a valid liability insurance policy covering our programs.
11. Health & Safety
Your health and safety are our priority, but participation is at your own risk. Follow staff guidance at all times.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for changes caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or political unrest. Refunds are not guaranteed.
13. Privacy & GDPR
We collect only necessary personal data for service delivery. Data is processed per GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Information is not shared without consent unless required to fulfil the service.

In accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Northern Echoes Oy processes customer data for service delivery, billing, marketing, and communication purposes.
